#TrainLikeAnEagle

This Membership is a progressive 8 week skill development program for rugby athletes who want to work directly with a USA Eagle to improve their on-field performance

Introducing you to the first Remote Coaching service created exclusively by USA Eagles.

Aspire Rugby recognizes that elite coaching is impossible to access unless you live in city that is a ‘rugby hub’. Even then boundaries prevent rugby athletes from attending expensive camps, getting time off of work to participate in clinics and individual feedback in a large group setting.

Aspire Rugby wants to address this need and that is why we have developed an 8 week Membership that allows any rugby athlete from anywhere around the country to work directly with a USA Eagle to improve their positional skillset.

#TrainLikeAnEagle is a program for athletes who are committed to improving skills that they use in their rugby position through applying weekly training techniques assigned by the very best players in the country- our USA Eagles.

Coaching from our Eagles allows you to learn the most effective drills and develop strategies around when to apply techniques in game play.

Don’t you want to get your information directly from the best?

Your membership includes:

-8 Weeks of elite training assignments carefully curated by your USA Eagle in order to improve your positional skills

-Direct feedback from your USA Eagle each week to hold you accountable to your development

-24/7 access to the other athletes in your cohort to exchange training techniques and to keep you motivated

-Additional performance enhancing resources to increase your mobility, speed and agility

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Which USA Coach will I work with?

A: After your application is approved, you will be paired with a USA Eagle based on your rugby position. For the next 8 weeks your USA Eagle will assign specific progressive training exercises helping you develop your positional skill as a “Playmaker” (catch/pass skillsets) or “Prime” (set piece skillsets)

Q: How do I know which training track to select?

A: When you fill out your Membership application you will get to select between either “Playmaker” track or the “Prime” track. Playmaker track will focus on skillsets around catch/pass and decision making in open field play. Prime track will focus on skillsets around set piece (scrum and lineout) and decision making during scrums and lineouts.

Q: Do I have to be a Back to select the “Playmaker” track?

A: No, you can select whichever skillset you would like to focus on for 8 weeks, however, we do recommend having at least 1 year of rugby experience before signing up for our #TrainLikeAnEagle Membership

Q: What is the cost of the 8 week Membership?

A: The 8 Week Membership is a significant financial investment. After you fill out you the #TrainLikeAnEagle Athlete Application you will be contacted if we think you are a good fit. At this time Aspire Rugby will answer any questions you may have including the cost of the membership.

Q: How is the #TrainLikeAnEagle Membership different from the rugby training I do with my team?

A: Our #TrainLikeAnEagle Membership allows you direct access to a USA Eagle. This ensures that you are getting the most accurate and up to date training instruction from the best rugby players in the country.

Q: How will my USA Eagle communicate with me?

A: At the beginning of each week you will receive an email from your USA Eagle with your assigned training and the directions for how to execute it. All assignments are designed so that you can train on your own around your home. At the end of each week you will participate in a zoom call with your USA Eagle and your training cohort. This is when you will learn additional tips and tricks from your Eagle, and you can ask individual questions and receive direct feedback from your USA Eagle.

Q: What format do the training assignments come in?

A: Some of your training assignments will include drill videos, some assignments will include written instruction and some assignments may include watching rugby matches. If you have questions or need additional clarity you will want to discuss with your USA Eagle during your weekly zoom call.

Q: Do I have to have to be an experienced rugby player to be part of the membership?

A: Rugby players of all abilities are welcome, however, you do have to be 18 years old to participate in our membership. We do recommend you have played rugby for at least 1 year.

Q: What is the refund policy?

A: Aspire Rugby is happy to give a 30-day money back guarantee if you are not satisfied with your training experience.

Q: What equipment do I need?

A: You will need a rugby ball and occasional teammate or friend to help you with drills. You will also need weekly access to a computer and the Zoom Application (we will provide you with more details on this application once admitted)
